Where It All Began
Larry St. John opened his first showroom on South Broadway in 1998 with a simple belief: furniture should be built to last a lifetime, not a lease cycle. Every piece in the shop was solid wood — no veneers, no particleboard, no shortcuts.
Over the decades that philosophy never changed. What grew was the collection — from a handful of dining tables to over 10,000 square feet of living, dining, bedroom, office, and media furniture, all handcrafted in solid wood.
Today Larry St. John & Co. remains a family-run operation. Our design staff has been with us for years, and many of our customers have been coming back for generations — furnishing their first apartment, then their family home, then their children's homes.
What We Stand For
Our Principles
Solid Wood Only
Every piece we sell is built from genuine solid wood — white oak, walnut, maple, cherry, alder, and more. We don't carry veneers or engineered wood products.
Custom to Your Space
Any piece in our showroom can be built to your exact dimensions, wood species, and finish. We work with you from sketch to delivery.
Expert Design Help
Our design staff is on the floor seven days a week. Bring your floor plan, a photo, or just an idea — we'll help you figure out the rest.
